The Devil in the Hall

Mary Stewart , a wallflower among the crowd. The homely young woman enjoys staying home with her mother and aunts on the weekends.  

 Mary turned 21 and refused to eat and couldn't sleep. The happy go lucky girl vanished. Now irritable, she used words as if stabbing someone with a knife.  Muttering the devil is going to kill her over and over.

 The family doctor advised her parents to admit Mary into the Insane Asylum for everyone's safety, especially Mary's.



   Mary's first day at the hospital, a nurse turned her back to place papers at the station. Mary jumps on her and sinks her teeth into her neck. Three male orderlies yank Mary off of her back. A chunk of skin is in her mouth. She spits the bloody piece in the air then sticks her red tongue out at them.

   They walk her to her room and place her on the bed. Her small arms and legs are secured with leather straps. She growls and screams demanding to be released. The oldest man pulls out a needle to inject her with a sedative.

                                          A woman's voice comes over the speaker.

                                            Code Red: Nomed ! Code Red: Nomed !

"Oh no. Crazy is out!" All three men run out of the room.

Security officers run down the hallway.

Unable to move ,Mary looks out the window at the rain reminding her of good times.

She hears a whisper at the door ,looking to see whose there, but nobody is standing there. She looks back at the window.
  Again she hears the whisper but it's closer . The bed shakes violently. She closes her blue eyes tight praying to God to rescue her from the menacing darkness.
  A cold hand clasps her restrained arm. She screams on the inside. Wanting to jump away but this cold monster has her in it's grasps. Fear buries her scream.
  She forces herself to look at the looming figure.
 She gasps in terror.
  Long greasy charcoal colored hair and cold eyes filled with demonic energy.  Undetermined of what it is, makes it scarier. It looks like a creature that escaped from hell and is determined to cause chaos.
 Mary locks eyes with the dark entity. " I knew the Devil was after me!"
    It let out a sinister laugh, then raises a hammer covered in dry blood and proceeds to smash her face until she is unrecognizable .

  The nurses weren't shocked because he has killed multiple patients before.
